Robert Kelly says:

I would like to have heard more about the finish, dial, and hands lining up or not.

gonshocks says:

A good looking watch but the price is way out of line for a quartz watch without sapphire crystal.

Rick Temmen says:

I love Timex but I can purchase Swiss made watches with a Ronda 715 quartz movement all day from a number of Companies like Victorinox, Tissot, Hamilton and a lot more. Come on Timex you can do better. Good review Thanks. ??

Pandu Hario says:

Is that $500? Is that quartz? Calm. Baume et mercier classima quartz have $900

Mario Laino says:

Ronda is a decent movement but if it had a regulated top grade ETA 2892 inside, who knows if even be willing to pay up to $1k for a Timex! Lok

Mr.DeLaCruz 559 says:

I’m really digging what Timex has been doing! Love the dial

caomhan84 says:

I think it is overpriced, but to be honest it appeals to me and I probably would've talked myself into buying it if it weren't so big. I dislike the modern trend for watches over 40mm. This was a 38mm watch all day. And with no bezel, that 41mm case wears larger. And that's why I can't buy it.

Stuff says:

I wish they would make a 39mm version.

Joe Platz says:

Just received as a gift and agree with you on all fronts. Not great value but love the ideas behind it and hope that it encourages further American watch part production. Further, as you said, this watch wears incredibly well; thin, classy and simple but with interesting details. I have the white dial and threw on a brown strap (also American-made).

J. T. says:

The Timex American Documents has a richer significance. It's not about a quartz watch, its not about an automatic watch & it certainly isn't about a measly $500.00 price tag. The Timex American Documents is about being an American & recognizing what this watch represents now and for the future.

Supertomiman says:

$500 quartz watch? Get outtaaaa here…

jackfyddle1 says:

Have one and love it!!!

Symbolistsla says:

Timex is a great watch series..ive been wearing one of the expedition series since 2009…it has been with me through the good and bad times, as well as my career in the tough logistics section of fire, water and steel…all this years and theres only a slight scratch not too visible…i vouch for this brand honestly for everyone. its the toughest brand around and the beauty of it is that its cheap and almost invincible! i will be purchasing the Timex american document soon…i'm so attached to its simplicity and strength…thank you Timex!-(singapore)-

Jim S says:

Nice to see Timex trying, 38 – 40MM would be better. At $495 offer an automatic ( Miyota, Seiko or Sellita)  as well.

The Watch Show says:

Too much print on the dial. Timex gets this wrong most of the time. The reason the marlin sold so well is nice clean dial. AND this watch is barely WR There is no way I can consider a watch purchase below 50WR. The watch really needs an American movement inside, but that is pretty much impossible. $500 damn. I'd rather buy a Seiko SARB! I am a fan of Timex. But only own a '67 GB Marlin.

Cosmo P. says:

I think it’s a good representation of (at least previous) America ideals

mmike456 says:

Who the hell thought that printing that UGLY “made in America” and “Swiss movement” right up on the front of that dial????? Looks like shit. I might be interested if they would get rid of that.

andrew kelly says:

My first watch was a Timex and I live in England ?? Great channel keep up the good work ?

Bryan says:

There are some way better watches out there for $500.

jackfyddle1 says:

I have the white dial up be and love it!!!

mr bacchus says:

Nice watch. As I live down the road from where they are assembling them and I love watches and history I feel like I need to buy this.

Patrick McAvoy says:

I have no problem with the price of this.500 for a quartz watch is fine, as long as the quality and craftsmanship is there .
